about

Corvidae is the term for the crow family. Six to seven hundred crows took part in this piece in November, when they are often seen to gather.

lyrics

A silent poem:

Corvidae (Fool's Covid)

'the golden-brown shimmer that can be observed on the mudflats at low tide are low in biodiversity but high in diatom abundance'

Li tt er ed sand stay Cay shun
The new British El Dorado
Onshore golden coral cay mimic shadows
of spent river events
leaving pincerable scraps for the sidestepping volunteers

Untrod Severn mud far from the shore harbours
mucus rafted Spire snails travelling faster than most
snails for miles at a time of Covid, happily Pangolin oblivious
A root cause? Just a lost pause in the submerged chains.
Corvidae family silhoettes caw at the golden edge of the bay
